Carrying Bags

Top picks for the Phantom series

  • Manfrotto MB BP-D1 DJI Professional Video Equipment Cases Drone Backpack (click here to check current price on Amazon) – When talking about a carrying bag for your Phantom, this Manfrotto backpack is truly hard to beat. This Italian brand has been around since the late 60's and is widely known in the photography/videography scene for making a large range of camera equipment. The D1 bag is large enough to house your Phantom, along with an iPad and a 17″ laptop, spare batteries, chargers, and even a DSLR camera if you're into that. This Manfrotto bag is the top of the line and will be my next buy when my current bag (see below) finally gives in.

  • Smatree Phantom 4 Backpack for DJI Phantom 4/4 Pro (click to check current price on Amazon)          This is your budget pick. When Smatree phantom backpack I was looking for a bag to carry my P4A I wanted something large enough to tote some extra gear around with while simultaneously providing enough hard protection for the drone itself. This Smatree backpack was the answer, and 16 months later I don't regret the purchase. The backpack is designed to house the styrofoam case the Phantom came in while providing a few zippered pouches for your gear. I will say that the quality of this bag is not on the level of the Manfrotto bag as is evidenced in some of the seams beginning to separate, but for less than half the price it is anything but a bad buy.

Top picks for Mavic Air

  • Smatree Mavic Air Carry Case for DJI Mavic Air DA500 Travel Case for DJI Mavic Air Fly More Combo (click to check current price on Amazon) – I can't get enough of these straightforward Smatree cases. This simply elegant case is designed to perfectly store everything that comes in the Mavic Air Fly More Combo. Like the case Smatree makes for the Mavic Pro, this Mavic Air case is one of the highest rated on Amazon.
